Donate to Pedal The Cause

Margaret suggested that I use this ride for good! My favorite charity is Pedal the Cause which is a St. Louis based bike ride that raises money for cancer research. Their mission is to “Create a World Without Cancer”. They’ve done an amazing job and in just 16 years have raised over $50 million and funded 255 cancer research projects.

I’ve registered my ride on their website, so please consider a donation on behalf of my ride. I’m asking all of my blog readers to consider a donation of $30.80 (or more) in recognition that I’ll be attempting to ride 3080 miles across the US. Note that the last donation date is October 31, 2025.

Here’s one of the many reasons I donate. My friend Hazel (on left with me and her sister Claire) had cancer when she was two. She is now doing great and cheered me on at a previous Pedal The Cause ride.
